Have you ever been the last find out about something?
Here in my hermetically-sealed underground shelter on the dark side of the moon crucial information sometimes passes me by. So, Kraftwerk are in residency at the Tate Modern for the next week, surely common knowledge on Earth but I only find out when I read the review of the gig tonight.

Still hoping to get a ticket for this sell-out without holding out much hope. (Computer love to anyone who needs to get rid.)

Now I feel like that Japanese soldier found hidden in the jungle still fighting World War II. When have other CCers been the last to find out about something?

She's not bad. Techno Pop as its called on the Tate site, or Electric Cafe as it was called when it was first released here. This would actually be my last choice of all the gigs but beggars can't be choosers eh?

That would be my choice too. She asked me a while ago which was the album I liked best and after umming and aaahing over Autobahn, Radioactivity and TEE, thats the one I went for. I didn't twig as to why she asked me either.

Fantastic review in the Evening Standard today for the first of their gigs.

All the tickets went within an hour IIRC.
I'd love to have seen any of the gigs. Or all of them.

Tickets took til about midday to go, I know as I sat at home on the phone (over 300 redials) and on the laptop trying to get through for a ticket all to no avail, I'm so gutted. About two weeks before they were announced I'd said to GLW that kraftwerk were the only band I regretted not having seen. Have avoided reviews.
