One of the escort riders is riding a 1970s style bike, which he got from 'Lost property' at the station. "It's been there for thirty five years, so why not make good use of it" said the desk sergeant.

Mr Cameron should have been "Setting a good example".
Yes he was. He was demonstrating that each adult individual in the UK has the right to make their own decisions.

I thought that was quite a good article- reporting on the reports rather than on Cameron's lack of lid. Though RoSPA clearly couldn't be bothered giving a serious comment on the story...

Not sure the bike that's behind him is roadworthy, just look at the handlebar set-up!

H/bars tipped up a bit.... Some people like it like that.

Post a photo of your bike and we can point out a few faults.

The guy riding behind appears to have a camera mounted on his helmet? His brake levers do also appear to be at a jaunty angle

I thought the point wasn't so much he wasn't wearing a helmet, it was that he had a helmet with him and left it dangling from the handlebars while he was riding.

Which is stupid In several ways.

Maybe I should read the article though.

Yes, I don't see a problem with no helmet, but having it dangling from the bars is daft - more chance of knocking it about, for one thing. If you want to wear one selectively, put it in a pannier, or strap it securely to your rack.

How can this man seriously contend to lead us towards prosperity if he doesn't even wear a helmet whilst cycling in Londres!

Talk about charging headfirst into the torrent; we deserve a leader who proceeds with caution, prudence, and a nice big safety net. What use is one if it lies dangling on the handlebars of the economy.

Disappointed of Tunbridge Wells

Theres some really good debate going on there now. Most of it seems very positive, but one or two daft people (one saying how he's going to vote BNP as a result )

A leader who manufactures himself a 'safety net' and proceeds with caution is showing he is unsure of what he is doing.
