Dawes Decals

Just had a 30 year old Super Galaxy tandem restored to (almost) initial glory. That means a respray, new bottom brackets, cranks, handlebars, breaks, cabling etc.
Was gonna ask Dawes for some decals and was unpleasantly surprised (although I've learnt now this is common practice) that actually they charge for them, nothing short of £20 (just a generic set with the Dawes logo, no particular model detail).
I'm thinking I'd be doing them a favour by advertising their brand on such a nicely restored machine. If they were to charge, then fair enough, ask for a fiver (postage) not £20. No shame, if you ask me...
I'm considering having a Coca-Cola sticker instead. I bet they'd send them for free...

It's modern style logos too which dont match the 30 y.o. bike, and they send the transfer sheet folded so some of the decals can never be applied properly. Don't bother with them.

A pal of mine was heaviliy into coca cola bottle collecting and had many different examples. He contacted coca coal hoping to scrounge some freebie bits and pieces and was gob smacked by the prices in the catalogue that they sent him.
