UPDATE: I have had some physio which has helped the knee enormously. I went beck back to the hospital today for a review of the hand where they x-rayed it and found a subluxation of the 2nd metacarpal. I'll have it reduced next week, then the pain should be gone.

I thought that I had put it at the beginning of this thread. It is in another somewhere then.

I was riding on the A38 in Birmingham towards the centre and a car pulled out across me to get into the central reservation to turn right. I hit his right front wing over the wheel at 25mph and went over the bonnet. Rolled a couple of times and got up - not much pain to begin with as the adrenalin had kicked in, but it got worse after about 20 minutes.

Holy carp, that's a bad SMIDSY. I was a bit further north on my route, through harborne/edgbaston.
