Yes, it can be annoying, but the nonsense of it and the simple catchy tune makes me smile
The two old guys (Statler and Waldorf) sum it up at the end really ("The question is, who cares?").

I quite enjoy Mayo and Kermode's film programme on a Friday afternoon on Radio 5 Live (being quite lucky I can listen at work). I just can't bring myself to listen to Radio 2 though, so I'll have to continue to miss out on the Muppet thing!

Yebbut; I live in deepest darkest Ayrshire where we have a choice of Radio 1, Radio 2, or some other BBC rubbish. The only independents we get are Radio Clyde and WestSound. Radio 2 is the least bad of the lot (in fact normally quite good, weekends apart). As for digital stations, we are still in the dark ages.
