Decided to go American and fit fenders.

Got the back one on but the front is going to be tricky.

I am still struggling to see what benefit there is in fitting fenders but millions of Americans cant be wrong.

Did the same couple of years ago but with Portland Design Works `Full Metal Fender` 30mm model. Designed for 23mm tyres only.
The clearance is minimal and grit on wet roads can make a bit of a racket at times
