Decorating, a question;
do you ‘cut in’ before or after rollering the emulsion on the walls?

?

Before.

Best get a man in.

I tend to cut in after..

After. Cutting is boring and time consuming, so by rollering as much as I can I then do the minimum required cutting. Cutting first, one invariably cuts more than required as a precautionary measure.
what do you mean by 'Cut In' ?

and BTW indoor decorating is a wet winters day pursuit - you must be mad in this weather to even consider it
Cut in is when you use a brush to to the edges, corners and round switches where the roller won’t get to.
And, sadly, MrsPete had other ideas :sad:
