I was cycling along to work from the town centre, rather than home, having made a detour via the bank.
I hate riding along this particular road

The cycle path is a "now you see me now you don't" affair and there are lots of lights and buses.
Sitting at the lights and, as usual, contemplating going round on the pavement -but then not - and a bus is behind me but wonder of wonders he stopped way back from me. And even more amazing, when the lights changed he didn't attempt to pass me at all!!!
Stunned I was, and was just thinking "I must tell fellow cc'ers of this wondrous thing" when a car starts edging over into the cycle path in front of me - A car with two bikes mounted on the rear!!
He'd clearly stolen it (or perhaps forgot he was in his car and not on his bike???) as he continued in the cycle lane, forcing me to slow considerably and then he left hooked me with only the quickest flash of indicators imaginable.
    Bizarre to say the least.
