A few years ago a long standing member whose name we are not allowed to mention made a long and hilarious post on why we were no longer worthy of his presence and threatened legal action unless all his posts were deleted, which they were. It was a legendary flounce.

I often click on the photo albums and it's sad that often, it's from a "deleted member".

Some nice photos, but is it right to display photos of deleted members? They have decided to ride off, but did they want to leave behind all the memories contained in those photos.

Not always; sometimes a member - it has happened to me - gets deleted for a while because a mod felt out of sorts on a particular day.
