Just got back from touring holiday in France where the main aim for me was to cycle up the alpe d'huez which I managed non stop in 1:05 (TDF finish line 
) even though I did get lost at the top because the street market was on and had to take a bit of a detour. 
Well chuffed but for anyone thinking of tackling it, its not has hard as I have imagined it to be. The first few corners are tough, then its just a slog all the way up to the top.
