It's chucking it down here. It's gone very dark and we've had to turn the lights on. Apparently this deluge is heading for Norfolk.

I take it you're not in Finchley then, been baking here.

Edit... Just read the mundane thread, ignore that.

Absolutely soaked though. I was only on a ride into town to run a few errands and was completely unprepared. I hid in a shop for a couple of minutes, but then decided it was set for a while and I would get wet anyway cycling through the puddles, so I MTFU and got on with it. Clothes are in the washing machine right now and shoes have newspaper in.

Who knows what I will get on my proper ride tomorrow.

Chucked it down before I went out at 8:45 but apart from a couple of drops at the cafe stop nothing else until I got back and when we were in town shopping, still didn't get wet though.

Typical ... I was going to go out on my bike early this afternoon but the sky was black and it looked like it was about to pee down. 7 hours later and it sill hasn't, but now I need to go out and buy some food. I bet the heavens open up as soon as I have walked round the corner!

My visit to the Birmingham Botanical Gardens was cut short by the wet falling from the skies and the rumble of thunder in the distance that resulted in a hurried dash for the Tea Rooms.
