Paul Wright - The best striker I have ever seen donning the proud stripes of Kilmarnock FC. Would get him to re-create his Cup winning goal of '97, which is one of my earliest and happiest memories as a football fan.

Eddy Merckx - Does this need an explanation? The man is a cycling god!

Dragoje Lekovic - The most entertaining goalkeeper I have seen bar none. I would like to know why he never learned to kick a ball properly.

Donnie Munro - Awesome singer, even if he did lose the plot a bit with his political campaign. If nothing else I would get him to sing Runrig's first 5 albums to entertain us.

Ah yes, well Steinbeck is my favourite author. Lola Montez and Wild Bill led some truly swashbuckling lives in an interesting century and I came to be very interested in Banjo Patterson while don a story on him for National Geographic a few years ago. I think the four of these characters, sitting around a table, woud certainly make for a very memorable meal.
