Dinotte LEDs - a question

Well the time has come to get the Dinottes i purchased earlier this year onto the road bike. They come with two velcro straps - one thick and one thin - but i can't see any use for the thin one. Am i missing something? Does anyone use both straps, and in what kind of arrangement?

I've got the tail light and that came with a thin velcro strap. I use it to wrap around the battery pack before putting it in the pouch. It prevents the batteries getting shaken out of the case and makes it a bit harder for the battery pack to fall out of the pouch if the flap comes open.

is the little strap for keeping the cable tidy?

yes I think its to tidy the cable - I don't bother with it, the cable is short and not at all flappy.

Definitely use it to wrap around the batteries else one will shake loose and the light will go out.
