me saying people not wanting/liking discs is more they don't want them due to them being wary of them and not trusting them due to recent recalls
but yes you lot win discs are superior in your world but in my world discs and rim brakes are now equal!

Whether you like it or not. Disc brake road bikes are hear to stay.
On a commute, where rim brakes eat through a pair of rims every 18 months against a pair of £5.00 disc brake pads and rims that do not wear... well you do the math.

My next purchase will be a disk-equipped CX bike, which will also double as a winter/rough weather trainer. However, at this rate I can still see it being another couple of years before the UCI allows them in road racing..
