Thanks for that. I guess it's just a bit of poor driving although by no means the worst I've seen.

It's not true that that it is nothing like a punishment pass though. I've found that they come in two different forms. One is a very close pass and the other is a safer pass followed by cutting in too quickly causing the cyclist to brake. They are both flagged up by the fact that the close pass/cutting in too quickly looks strange due to the space available on the drivers right hand side.

Approaching a roundabout, so called professional driver should've waited until after crossing the roundabout if going the same way...

Think about how such a vehicle takes something like a roundabout. Which is essentially a left followed by a right turn.

I did take that into account and still thought that in this case there was no need to take the line he did.

Yeah, that's why I said think about how it takes a roundabout. then you can look at this one and apply it.

That is the line the driver would take around the roundabout, otherwise they have to slow down and take the rest of the roundabout at a much tighter angle for the trailer.

Just because they drive for Tesco's,Sainsbury's or the British F1 team doesn't necessarily mean they are so called "professional" drivers.

We don't have a "British F1 Team". We have however, various F1 teams that are British based.
Most Tesco deliveries are now done by Stobart. Something that hasn't gone down too well with Tesco drivers.
