Mistake 1 was not being in the (apparently) clear right lane and not straddling for the overtake. Had he been so then any roundabout related manoeuvre short of turning left should have been safe. Given he wasn't indicating left I can't work out why he took the line he did. Maybe there was something unseen.

Here in deepest South East London supermarket artics are about the only large vehicles I trust to do the right thing. Its a surprise, an aberration you should report to Tescos. Given they get their drivers to do it right more than most they are probably in a better position to bring these errors to both this driver and the other drivers in the fleet more effectively than even the police and courts.
No report has been done to the police.driven well is the best way

Not as bad as I was expecting after reading the comments first. Bad overtake, I personally (as the cyclist) would have held back on seeing the situation unfold (I shouldn't have to, but I would anyway).

I think that merits a word with the driver, not much more than that imo.

?????

The lorry's wheels are 2 feet from the kerb with the cyclist still alongside - that merit's a lot more than a 'word'.

Tesco are closing their distribution centre in Harlow so hopefully we will see fewer of their lorries around the town.
It was a poor maneuver.

Even more so due to the fact that the driver should have checked thier miiror on the approach to the rab and acted on the cyclist who is still on their n/s.

They did not and this why this warrants more than a word.
Like I said, fine.

The driver does take a strange line, almost looks like a punishment pass.

Don't beat around the bush just say what you mean.

Take a look at it again. The pass itself wouldn't be so bad if the driver stayed in the right lane on entering the roundabout. It's the cutting back into the left which is puzzling. I mentioned a punishment pass because it looks like there may be a cycle lane there which some drivers get upset/confused about when they are not utilised.

There is no cycle lane along that road.

Sorry for being short, that was a bit pathetic if I'm honest.

But I don't think it was a punishment pass, nothing like it.
