Dismal Disco numbers...

Yep, the partying season will soon be upon us, sometime we'll probably end-up at some kind of works Disco or similar.
I went to a do with our street yesterday, dinner dance at the local hotel (big-time fun eh?), was soon reminded how dreadful and repetitive these do's get. We were soon treated too:

YMCA
I will survive
Grease Medley
That Titanic wail...

What Disco horrors should be signed to the bad-taste-bin forever and never ever re-played?

Oh, a bit OT but once, in my student days I was in Yates 'Wine Lodge' and asked the DJ to play something by Fatboy Slim...the guy turned to me and said, no word of a lie, 'I only play mainstream music'

The memories are flooding back - could be a long u tube tonight!

James Brown was a college favourite -"Get Up Offa That Thing"

More recently, that Macarena Song used to take a hold, and stuff by the cheeky girls... not sure who should be getting a grip here...:smile:

- and this one is never to be forgotten...

There's always 'Come on Eileen' followed by 'Shout'.......
That's a top call Ashtrayhead.
It's a pi55er when Dexy's did some good stuff esp. Geno, that all you flippin' hear is the truly awful 'Come on Eileen'.

I'd like to add any song by the Beatles.
