Do cycle couriers still exist?

In the early nineties I had cause to be in the centre of Manchester regularly and always used to see a group of them near St Anne's Square.

I often thought that I'd like to do it myself but the pay put me off, so nowadays with most things being digital do they still even exist?

Up until a year ago my NHS letters sent from Bath used to come by bike. They seem to have swapped to Royal Mail now.

Plenty in Liverpool, they seem to hang out up by the university when in between jobs.

Yes, they do though not in the same numbers.

Was reading a piece by Emily Chappel where she explained it's mostly ferrying around legal documents or items for Mr Bigwigs in that London.

We get daily deliveries by bicycle at work. Not light stuff either, one poor lad had 20 motorcycle tyres once!.

They also deliver for DPD I believe.
