do i need more kit?

also take hand pump, hydration pack e.t.c but just for emergency kit this is what i take

anyone think there is owt else i should be taking to be on the safe side?

I also take:-
- a chain tool and some spare links (so that I don't forget them if I am on the fixie)
- axle spanner, ditto
- a tyre boot
- good quality plastic tyre levers, instead of your metal ones.

I'd get some different tyre levers - metal ones are a great way to scratch up your rims. I like these:

Is the spanner necessary? Depends on the bike, but many newer ones don't have anything that would be useful for.

Also, you could get a quick-link type thing to aid with chain repair.

Darn it, beaten to it. Looks like that multitool has a chain tool though ASC1951.

I'd second the Chain tool, quick links and decent tyre levers. I use a Topeak multi tool that has the chaintool and tyre levers built in.
I never carry a spanner but my bikes don't need one. I did on an older bike and carried a multi tool with that built in too.

Edit: your multi tool already has a chain tool.

look over your bike at what hex keys it screws bolts it has and take enough to cover them
i can get away with 2 hex keys alloy tyre levers and and skabs chain tool if touring ive never
needed it its a halfords one

never been a fan of multi tools simply more stuff on them than on my bike

i have had 2 puncures in one trip two bloody big thorns

prob a freakish streak of bad luck and may never happen again but better than carrying 2 tubes just on the safe side

spanner is still in there from my apollo that didnt have qr rear wheel (never thought that i may not need it cheers)

Two inner tubes, suck the air out, roll and and bind them tight around with tape.

Two plastic tyre levers, taped with one of the tubes.

2 - 3 Allen keys to fit the bike, taped with the other tube.

Chain links if you want.

Topeak Tool Kit (has everything else I need in it including chain tool and takes up almost no room at all) ->
