I reckon our house is haunted, every week we spend a fortune on shopping, when we fancy one of the the items we bought for tea, it's mysteriously vanished/been left half eaten, for example bought some small individually wrapped soreen loaves, ideal for taking on bike rides, thought i'll take one with me on sunday, three of them had gone, couldn't have been my son as he believes anything that contains fruit is the work of Beelzebub, Mrs DRM or my daughter wouldn't nick three of them,(odd number) so i can only conclude it's a kitchen poltergeist, i just wish he/she/it would wash up once or twice!

I've just walked past the locked up warden's office and heard a spooky pinging noise. It's as if the microwave's calling me,asking me to rescue it and give it a pie or some soup to warm up.

Old thread revival time. Heck, this thread was started by me when I lived for three months in the sheltered housing building across the road. If I remember rightly there was a case of the top of my olive oil bottle popping off the bottle constantly, without me touching it, plus other inexplainable things. 🤔 Well yesterday I had a very odd experience in my flat. On Tuesday night my bedroom ceiling light's bulb popped as I turned the light on. I checked it yesterday before buying a replacement bulb. Yes, the light definitely didn't come on. I must've forgot to press the wall switch off while doing the check, but if the bulb had blown it wasn't a problem. While out and about I bought a bulb, then soon after I saw a housing association I rent off, electrician I know. I asked her if she could fit the new bulb as she has a step ladder, unlike me. She said she'd call round one evening to fit it for me. When I got back after 5 hours I walked up my stairs to see that the light was on! I must've left the switch on, but why was the bulb now working, I ask??!! I messaged the electrician asking if somehow she'd gained entry to my flat and fitted a new bulb, with her replying she wouldn't enter my flat without my permission even if she could.

As I now post, on looking up at the now working bulb it isn't the round bulb I remember fitting when I moved in here, but instead some fancy shaped one!🤔
