yup..its quite a round shaped bush, I dont know the proper name for it, some daft Latin name, but its stalk is long, and then the top is round, everyone who sees it comments on how pretty it looks when its in full bloom.

Hi got some Endura womens shorts, but the mountain bike style , baggy ones with padded inser, and going on long ride this Sunday.

i have a humongous umbrella plant not so much as on my desk, but on the 3 desks next to me!!

I've not got any plants on my desk. However I have a couple of cacti & a swathe of succulents (or maybe just one big one with loads of small leafs I'm not sure, they were left by a post-doc many years ago) on my office window sill & also a lovely tree fern which is just over 2.5m tall, this is positioned under the skylight so I can have have some shade in my office & still open the skylight up to get some ventilation in summer.
