Do you name your bike?

Mine are called Monty, Mercury, Mephistopheles and Midge.

My QNT is known as the red trike. The Kettwiesel was named by a friend. As it's German made, battleship grey and BIG, he called it Tirpitz. Very apt as it's built like the proverbial brick outhouse!

I always tend to bristle a bit at men/women generalisations - probably because I'm most likely not to fit in to them... (And in fact, neither are many of the men I know...)

I bought a new bike at the same time as two friends. They named all three of our bikes in my absence.

As a result, their bikes are called Molly and Bella, mine is called Gary.

We have two Giant expeditions and guess what, they were christened by the wife 'Hercules' and 'Goliath". Perhaps it is a female thing!

But I'd prefer you all to consider I named her after my favourite fraggle, rather than the colour Trek decided to give her.
