Do you use "social media" - you know Facebook, blogs, twitter and all that?

I don't use them simply because I don't have the time. I also don't see the point in putting all your life on facebook or other social media sites. I suppose if a group of like minded people got together to discuss their mutual interests then I could see the point, but to just post messages aboput what you've done at the weekend is pretty pointless to me. I'm happy to participate in a few formums that share the same interests as me. I find them informative and you can pick up some great advice and hopefully pass on some advice.

They are great for sole traders and people working from home on their own.... for getting known and making contacts.... especially LinkedIn.
