its a free site that lets you upload or download your gps tracks and make routes too, you can also share them easily.
good site.

Although check via google maps before you set off if you get chance - been caught out a couple of times with crossing railway lines and bridal paths.

Agree-same with most of the websites to be honest. Stick the little google man over the route and have a look.
 
+1 here too. One HUGE benefit - being able to look at the google mapping AND the OS map (the proper map!).

Another for Bike hike.

And for those that dont know, if you uncheck the map option you can use it for bridlepaths etc, then re check for when back on the road.

Yes thats true, but i find the os map isnt always there and the "map detail cannot be shown at the moment" message is there so it doesnt work.

Probably bad habit on my part, but ive got so used to just unchecking the box its automatic with me now.
