Is it a rare street name? It's the name of a cross street off the street a grew up, and the best route to the tram. Yup, google maps shows lots of them in southern England, just limiting the name to Havelock Road.

(yes, I know it's in Terry Pratchett, but isn't it like getting excited about London because Douglas Adams mentions it?)

No idea, I initially saw Havelock Street, & pulled round the corner to park up, & was closest to this, plus there's a Havelock Place further on

This is in Bridlington, when we were wending our way home, after leaving our Goth Weekend accommodation (yes, I know it's a long way below Whitby, but we have access to a static caravan there)

That's a Wizzard pun
As is this..................
I lived on Havelock Street in Sheffield when I did my Master's. It was dead handy for the University, there were loads of good pubs that sold Burton ale on tap, and you could nip round to Brunswick Street for some Jamaican weed.
I lived in Broomspring Lane and my brother lived in Brunswick Street back in the 70s. Lots of screechy taxi brakes as it was a bit of a red light district.
