Are these OK? Let me know if you need more.

One last picture, if you would be so kind, or you may just be able to answer it?

See the photo below, this is my Tailfin rack mounted to my Kinesis Ti GTD

As you can see the Tailfin strap fits nicely around the seat tube just under the seatpost clamp. Is there enough of a gap under the seat post clamp on the Dolan GXT to do the same?

The Tailfin strap is maybe 26mm wide if that helps?

The gap on the Dolan is about 19mm (inc. the weld radius), see pics below, (the last one shows a 26mm dimension to simulate your Tailfin strap:

Could you modify the strap on the Tailfin somehow?

Thanks for taking the time to take the photos, really appreciated.

Looking on the Dolan website l suspected as much, which is a real bummer to say the least!

I think if l clamp it above the seatpost clamp then it will put the rack at a silly angle. Its hard to gauge really as the frame geometry is slightly different.

The other option is to mount the Tailfin rack on the pannier mounts as opposed to the thru axle. They are much higher up than the centre line of the thru axle so it would then clamp above the seatpost clamp okay and keep the rack level, l think?

But by doing this really defeats the purpose of the 'quick fit" Tailfin rack!

No problems, glad to help a fellow CycleChatter.
If it helps the vertical distance between the centres of the thru axles and lower rack mount bolts is about 50mm, so if you were to use those I think it would put your strap comfortably around the seatpost, above the seatpost clamp about where the plastic clamp is on my seatpost.
