Why make a good bike as slow as fu(k. I wonder about people , yes you might be slowing down but don’t hinder yourself.

A quick short test ride, considering it has 45mm tyres its seems remarkable agile?
The other thing that threw me was the inability to run 31t front and the 11 or 12 t on the cassette. I initially thought it was a set up problem, but it all worked as it should on the 48 ring?
A quick search on Goggle and its supposed to do it, 1) stops excessive chain alignment 2) stops the chain hitting the larger chain ring when on the inner chain ring. So 31 front and 13 rear is the lowest combo you can go. I will admit it had me scratching my head for a quite a while 🤣

When you say inability to run 31t/11t (or 12t) do you mean it just makes a noise or you literally can't select that combo? I can run that on mine but the chain is very noisy (cross chain-ing) but I can trim it out by pushing the left hand lever over slightly until it clicks, but doesn't shift up to the big ring. Another short push then sends the chain onto the upper chainring.

When you are carrying all your camping stuff etc, who gives a flying fig about speed! This is my touring/workhorse bike, comfort is the key!
If l want a faster ride then l'll use a faster bike.

Its not an option to select those bottom two gears when on the 31 inner ring, nor can it be programmed out via the eTube app either apparently

I did have a thought after I said this, but if you selected 11/34 cassette in the eTube app instead of the 11/36 cassette, I wonder if you could then get those bottom two gears? When I get five minutes, I'll give it a try just out of curiosity
