I must be bored, I have just been looking at the members list and there 300 members who have never posted

However, some of them, apparently, last visited on the 1st January 1970...

that's because whatever database the forum uses stores dates as a number, and obviously 01/01/1970 is the date that is represented by the number zero, other dates will be represented by the number of days since then.
