Not had anything stolen, but on two occasions I have taken in parcels just abandoned on next doors doorstep.

Someone I know recently had his milk delivery stolen from the doorstep. Whole thing captured on his CCTV. Was in the early hours of the morning and the scrotes appear very quickly after the milkman, leaving him to surmise that they were following said milkman. Seems to have been a spate of it in the area.

Happened to us last year. Parcel left on the front doorstep was missing when we returned home. Package and some of the contents were found later strewn down nearby steps. Contents were only worth a couple of quid and we were refunded without issue. There had been others taken the same day and CCTV footage was passed to the police who knew exactly who it was and where to find them.

Nothing stolen from me, I have a "safe place" out of sight from casual thieves.
Of course someone could follow a courier, but so far it never happened to me.

A fair number of couriers get their vehicles pinched because they often leave the engine running with keys in the ignition. In the case of comlany owned vehicles that often results in the firm charging the employee for the loss of the vehicle.

The term is American (surprise!).

There are quite a few videos around where people have set traps for them, by leaving what look like deliveries out, with exploding paint powders when somebody tries to steal them.

recently saw one of those videos and the would be thief was shouting they were going to sue the owner of the trap .......

If there is footage of it then I would send it to his employer anyway

They need to know if they have a dodgy employee!
and if they do something about it then ti could save other people having their parcels "go missing"

the next person he steals from might need it urgently!

My incident encouraged me to get a video doorbell, hopefully it will deter any further dodgy doings!

Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
I got delivered a parcel for next door but one once.

A month later I came across it, hidden away and forgotten about.

I took it round all the same and apologised for the delay. They probably thought I was an idiot.

It's not part of my neighbourly job spec to not be an idiot.
