Anyone else like the vocal tones of this kind of music ? Yeah its easy listening and a bit soppy but you gotta love the barber shop roots of it .
Just reminded myself tonight of it and this was always a good one to jive to with the girls .

My wife likes all that stuff. She did briefly sing barbershop in school.

Sh boom reminds me of a gig I once did in Amsterdam on new years eve . It was us and the stargazers that shared a dressing room and there was a table full of booze . We assumed it was laid on for us so between 15 of us we drank the lot  Come midnight when everyone wanted to pop a bottle of champers they where shocked that there was no booze left . The star gazers where on stage at the time so I blamed them

I like .... for the longest time.. billy joel, he did the lead and all the backing , allthough i dont think it is strictly a capellabecause it has one musical instrument ...a bass guitar

Schoolboy promoter error, putting the booze in the same room as the bands!
