Some NZ world champion heavyweight boxer that I've never heard of has failed a drugs test for cocaine. Could be 2 years......or might be 3 months.

although, to be fair, the whole thing is based upon innuendo and rumour, No hard (fnarr!) evidence that this has actually happened.

I remember many years ago seeing a pair of Helly Hansen under pants with a foil covering over the front. How we laughed until a Norwegian climbing friend said wait till you go out when it’s windy in a Norwegian winter.

Serena Williams is attempting a tennis comeback at 44.
But she has been using weight loss drugs to shift 15kg in the last year.
There appears to be an interesting moral dilemma as to whether that is a performance enhancing drug.

Interesting. I mean they must be, really - they're on the WADA list, no? I assume we're talking Ozempic and the like?

My understanding of them may be wrong but I thought they worked by suppressing appetite so the drug itself isn’t ’burning fat’ as the tabloids like to claim. The person taking them is therefore losing the weight by eating less, they’re just getting some help in doing that. If that understanding is right then I really don’t see an issue.

You are correct.

Mrs D is on Kilimanjaro, GP presdribed, not for weight loss (shes 11 stone and size 12) but because its been found to have an effect on some diabetes patients that is nothing short of miraculous.
