Dover to Genova on a motorcycle

I have a meeting in Genova in a few weeks time. Depending on the weather, I was thinking about using my motorcycle for the journey. Just depends on the journey time. I estimate around 18 hours. However, this time of year going up through the Mont Blanc pass could be tough going!

I have done Leeds to Malaga on my trail bike, it's got 2 wheels and a combustion engine, what more could you want?
