Cycling these days is about getting some really serious kit that will amaze your clubmates. For the senior pilots among you I propose a basic wireless cycle computer which is made of precious metals with an 'aeronautical style' display. When banked over too far in a turn it goes 'woop-woop' and if you go too slowly uphill it shakes the bars. Occasionally it makes that 'bing' sound that you only ever hear on aircraft. RRP £11,563, waterproof to 2000m. Limited edition. Versions for other professions in development (currently working on one aimed at Environmental Health Officers)

How about a HUD with the digits about 6' in front of you?

Some kind of chip that could be implanted in the terminally-gullible that would stop them from instinctively rejecting points of view that suggest they save their money instead of buying unnecessary upgrades.

Better than that, would be a device that provided you a tailwind at all times....

Oh - already available...

A 5ft pneumatic "thumb up, thumb down" device. When someone makes a close pass on the commute a button releases the air into the device and it inflates in a "thumb down" orientation to the recorded shouts of "Oy you numpty" or words of your choice.
