Drought now declared across the whole of Wales.

And Gwaelod y Garth (About 10 miles from me, and I cycle through sometimes) got flooded today. But not from rain, from a nearby quarry blast opening up an underground lake from old iron works!

When I was at school - back when Moses were a lad - we were told that described the whole of creation from planets stars etc and also at sub-atomic level

Then I went to university and found out that the tiny ones are not like balls and don;t go in circles and are not balls

and some can be above or below the nucleus and will be both - possibly at the same time - but the only place it is never is in the plane of the nucleus - which is always moving and at any given point an electron of Drago's undies could be up Dave's nose

I got rather confused when it got to the Maths of all that

And yet despite all of that, creation (including Doug and Dave) still chugs along. Almost as if doesn’t care whether it’s understood or not.

We've had a heavy, but short lived shower. That short. but nevertheless measurable, 0.5mm of precipitation means the drought is technically over, although the water scarcity continues.

A shower of rain made the headlines in the local Peterborough rag...apparently the first in gawd knows how long but...they were obviously asleep when it showered for 5 minutes about a week ago...so put that in you pipe local papers !

Lasted to 15 minutes or so

an hour later the patio was dry again!
