I see Derbyshire dibble have closed a load of roads. Eejut hillwalkershave been out en masse and double parked on many routes. This has prevented the gritters from getting though, with ramifications for places further afield they couldn't access as a results, so the Five-O have put a stop to it.

I don’t think it’s hill walkers per say, so much as idiots who discovered the countryside in lockdown.

when I lived in North Wales during the summer the number of morons who parked cars in dumb places near well known walks was just unbelievable
and that was years before lockdown
People are just idiots
lockdown just isolated them for a few months and they got worse
and in some cases bred
which is why we need laws and Police

No. But the band have released recordings ,of their latest the 'Transinistra transexual time warp trance,' Mr. Spanks & his thrusters are a bit of a comedy weirdo band, but play tight together, with thumping groovy bassline.
Probably the sort of stuff you'd hear coming from a flying Porta potty.....

I went out with a lass from Bangor for a while. Back then the locals were just as bad, they'd drive out into the Nant Frrancon to walk the dog and park like prats.

True - I lived with my ex in Bangor for many years
We went for a lot of walks around the area - and the popular places were impossible - if we wanted to go there we generally went late afternoon because by then parking spaces had started to open up - and take a picnic for dinner
but it certainly was not just the tourists that parked badly - there were a few nice places to walk where the tourists never seemed to go

the view yesterday morning, 5” of fresh stuff. It did it the day before too.
and it’s supposed to do another 6 on Wednesday and that much again on the weekend… so 22” this week, that’s about 55cm for you tropical types.

Actually, this is odd for this area. We used to get months like this every winter but for the last few years we’ve had very little snow. I haven’t even put stuff away for the winter, riding my bikes and motorbikes regularly year round.
