I was over that way just yesterday, but sans bike.

*No, it wasn't me, in case you're asking.

Even more stupid than scattering them on a road, a puncture is easy enough to fix but the vet bill if a dog gets one in its paw or worse your child stepping on one.

I don't think think has been posted so I thought I'd sling it up for @theclaud and any other Swansea chatters that may not have seen it :okay:

Thanks Muggers. Yep I found out about it when I met a pair of tandemists who'd been simultaneously sabotaged despite rufty-tufty Marathons and suchlike. I spread the word on Facebook, but not before another pal had been clobbered. I use the path most days but have escaped so far, and the Council have done some sweeping. Am keeping an eye out for the culprits, and I have a spy based in a foreshore location...

It's the "anti cycling" brigade at it again, the problem is they do not appear to have too many active brain cells because if they did they would have realised the danger to dogs, small children wearing thin soled shoes, adults wearing trainers etc. I honestly believe the kind of people who try and sabotage cycle routes with nails, tacks or even wire do not think about what they are doing, they are so obsessed with trying to stop cyclists they simply do not look beyond the end of their nose.

Good grief.

Apologies for the DM link - "The black Volkswagon Golf then appears to mount the curb".

They also put deliberately in quotes, suggesting that maybe the driver might have done this by accident. No such equivocation about the cyclist's actions I note.
Simples in DM-land.

- Driver - innocent until proven guilty (and only on condition that the charge is vastly reduced).
- Cyclist - guilty. Full stop.
