More recently, Erraid at the Iona end of Mull. This one's connected via a beach most of the time so access isn't difficult. A place to sit and look. The near neighbour looked a tad busier.

I'm visiting the Outer Hebrides for the first time in a couple of weeks. It looks awesome.

Nice in a bleak kinda way.

Santorini is stunning from the heights of Oias, and equally stunning looking up to Oias towards the heights.

Comino is a fab little island in the middle of the Med with a wild biodiversity for such a cut off island - the Mediterranean Chameleon has made foothold here!

A friend of mine is doing a bit of fundraising to help Iona get a new village hall. He's going to get a daft world cup based haircut as an incentive.

Ronaldo's weird half melon thing is currently winning in the voting.

The best/worst thing about all this is that he's away on his 10th wedding anniversary whilst he'll be sporting whatever he ends up with.

A lovely place and a fun ride on the tractor at high tide and a refreshing stop …..

Had a lovely week on Raasay off the east coast of the Isle of Skye a few years back and would recommend the walk up to Dun Caan.
Booked a late availability holiday 2 years ago to the beautiful island of Ischia. Couldn't believe our luck as the room we got at the top of the hotel was absolutely spectacular and the view from our tennis court sized terrace over the Bay of Naples as jaw dropping. Wonderful weather, scenery, food and precious memories.

I'm off fishing to Crooked Island in the Bahamas at the end of next week. Ranks high on the list
