only thing I can see that is an option is one of these which clamps to the handle bars or the seat post (rotates as needed). I have used them extensively on tour with my husband to take our water bottle cages count to 5 for the tourers and they are excellent and we have not had any fail.

you then add a water bottle cage to it.

I can recommend these too. I've used them mounted on bars and (currently) seat post on my mountain bike.

I use mine with this cage, which you can adjust so it holds the bottles really tight for bumpy rides.

As long as you get enjoyment from it then its perfect for you. In time you may want to upgrade but for now keep riding.
See plenty of people out on my rides who have 'all the gear, but no idea!'
