I nearly wrote my dad's car (and my kayak thats on the roof) off the year after I'd passed my test.
the watersports centre I was headed to is just off a roundabout on a busy stretch of dual carraigway (pugneys, wakefield)
the road I am coming out of is heavily used, my first exit is the dual carraigway, second is a business park, third is dual carraigway headed into town, forth is the watersports centre and fifth is the road I'm sat in.
car comes speeding down the dual carraigway from my right and is indicating left, I start to move slightly,
he goes past the entrance to the watersports centre, so I assume he's coming down the road I'm coming out of
some sharp braking from me follows, with someone in a truck nearly going into the back of me, nudging me forwards a bit by getting the end of my canoe, because he doesn't take the exit, he's going straight on and has been indicating left all this time to show that.
so, to be honest, I'd rather people not indicate and I'll assume they're going to cut across my path, regardless of their lane choice than them indicate and lead me into a false sense of security in their intentions
