Has anyone got any advice? My work only has the electric wall radiators which you can't cover and there is no place for you to hang anything near it(they hardly turn them on anyway). I find that it is mostly my lycra shorts that get soaked and when the time comes in winter when its freezing I don't want to leave with damp shorts or trousers. Thanks

I've got the same issue- regularly getting soaked, only got electric heaters.

It really depends on what environment you are working, but what i do is hang my clothes up for a couple of hours in order to let all the excess water drip out (i also wring them out where appropriate), then I hanging them about 2ft above an electric heater in a toilet/wash area set on a low heat.

For obvious reasons, you need to make sure that water isn't dripping off your clothes onto the heater. Not ideal, but everything drys in a couple of hours.

Desk fan. Hang shorts under desk and use a fan.

Same as!.........I have 3 standing fans at work.
I have my tops hanging over the fan so it blows out like a wind sock. Shorts and socks, i bulldog clip to the fan guard.
Shoes, i tie the laces to the fan guard and dangle them in front............All drys lovely.

I'm so lucky compared to you guys, we have a proper drying room and even a heated drying cabinet for fast drying. It's intended for other things than cycle kit of course, but allowed to use it as long as we keep it tidy!

my old office used to have a drying room. it had electric towel warmers which was good.

where i am now does have radiators (i use them to dry my towels overnight etc) but my clothes just get hung on whatever part timers desk is free. tends to dry quite quickly.

Ive made a drying cupboard at work. We have a large built in cupboard that sees hardly any use, so I have put a clothes hanging rail and a rack for shoes, bag etc in there. The other week, I drilled a hole through the side, fed and extension lead in, and now have an oil filled radiator in there UNDER the hanging rail. Should get stuff dry and toasty.

I keep an extra pair of shorts and legwarmers at work.

My gloves and cap dry nicely if I stick them behind my PC.

If there's an empty incubator in the lab I use that, but lately they've been filled with samples on long-term storage tests.
