Hope it doesn't snow. I've got a day off work, I'll miss all the fun.

I suspect because snow that comes during the night when the roads are quiet has more chance of building up a good depth than if it comes during the day.
I meant more in the way of not being able to get home due to the snow. Blind panic seems to set in the minute it starts sticking & people make every effort to get home as soon as possible.
How many have phoned home to say that they can't get home because of the snow..

ET, by the way went home in a flying saucer/UFO/spaceship. So he doesn't count.

Why is everyone afraid if cycling in the snow? I would love to commute in it!
Tomorrow, I am going to make a day of the weather and go out for a nice ride and possible end up helping people stuck on the roads (I like to help who I can).

Coming off, getting injured, being hit by an out of control car...

I'm building a snowman (with the family) .... No work, no cycling,no driving :-)

Well not if you live in the County of London itself, none here yet...although apparently it's just started in Surbiton

I had every intention of commuting in and then leaving work at the first snowflake. However a culmination of pressure from SWMBO and the fact I would probably have had to cut short important telecons that I'm due to chair seemed to make it more sensible to work from home.
