Just back from a few days cycling around Amsterdam on a Dahon speed 7 and saw something I'd like. My regular "tourer" is a Dawes Discovery 501 but it has carbon forks so has no facility to use regular pannier racks. I've used bar bags but they move, sag and generally get on my tits, anybody know of a UK stockist of this type of rack?

You could try Velorution in London or alternatively dutchbike.co.uk or dutchbikeshop.co.uk. I have seen them in Velovision magazine I think so you should be able to find a UK supplier.

Dutchbike.co.uk show them on their website. I don't think I've ever seen one on a tourer - I have one on my commuter/shopper and the handling isn't fantastic when it's loaded.

Thanks, I'll have a look at the site. I don't intend to put a lot of weight on it but I do like some weight over the front wheel and these look stable, with enough space to strap my waterprood roll bag to.
