E-mail account problems

Any of you kind people give me any advice regarding my home e-mail, everytime i go to my inbox page or try to send a new
message, a message pops up saying internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close, very frustrating, my account is with Yahoo mail, and this is the only site that i get this message, any help or advice greatly appreciated.

What version of Internet Explorer are you using? If you don't know go to the Help menu and then click on "About Internet Explorer" and it should tell you. If you are on an old version (IE6 or IE7) I would upgrade to IE8 and see if this helps.

You could also try downloading a different web browser - either Firefox or Chrome would do - and see if that makes a difference.
