Just to be clear so we know the parameters

Hard to comment as in the uk it would be illegal as over here they are limited to 15,5 mph , any faster and they are classed as mopeds with the need for insurance, appropriate driving license, VED , mot ( including the need for lights , reg plate etc etc ) .A lot going on in social media as the police are finally doing something about them.
If it meets the regs in your country , im guessing usa ? then a class 2 e bike should be limited to 20 mph although class 3 ones are legal but need a helmet but it is pretty sketchy dependant on which state your in !
Hey if its legal for you then go for it

Too bad your laws are so strict. You’re missing out.

depends on how you look at it
If you want to ride anything faster get a cbt ( motor bike ) licensee , heck those of us of a certain vintage can ride moped class vehicles up to 30 mph on our car license with an l plate without a further test and there are plenty of legal e mopeds to be had so there is no need for law change .Given the use of illegal and illegal modded bikes being used by nefarious people and the flood of people working in this country as unregistered food delivery service i am happy to see the back of them , plus i am currently still able to hold a pace faster than current legal bikes unless it uphill
