Ear covers - helmets

Anyone know what those ear wind protector thingies are that attach to helmet straps? I'm trying and failing to google them now.

Made my own out of some cardboard to try out but need to refine idea more!
... taped on with a bit of velcro between the triangles of the helmet straps.... with a rear facing 'cup' to amplify sounds from behind as I'm a bit deaf so equivalent of cupping my ears facing backwards... plus it deflects wind from front! Could cover in black/coloured webbing material to make them look more trendy!

Whatever you do there will still be some degree of wind noise.

Beanie is best option IMHO. Those clip on side burns look absolutely ridiculous.
