Did not go too well. Two of us set off about 9:15 we did all of 200 metres before Martin (Not Ape) had a problem with his cleat not clicking in. So we decided to meet up with the slower group leaving at 10:00. I went to meet them and by 10:15 decided to go it solo. I got about 5 miles riding through rivers and avoiding ice at the sides of the road when the heavens opened again. So I decided to cut across to the main road for a flat out blast home. This is the first time that I have had the Garmin mounted on the fixed and was pleasantly surprised that I could hold 25mph at 120rpm.
I went over to Baldock on the Brommie in the end. It was very and a fair amount of slush on the road.
It made the descent into Clothall a bit interesting, so say the least...
