Hi

Can anybody help me. I have recently bought a Brompton with a rear rack. On occasions I will have to pull/push the bike on the uneven pavement from the bus stop home in it's folded state. I was thinking about fitting Brompton's own Eazy wheels but I have read that you can fit razor scooter wheels (98mm) instead which are possibly more robust.

I would be grateful to hear what other people have done and what your experience has been? Also if you have fitted scooter/transit wheels successfully where did you get them from?

Look forward to hearing from you!

Many thanks

yes you can, however i have read reports of the rack frame breaking away if bumped up and down a lot. the easy wheels have rubber o rings on the outside.

The problem is shoe size!

If you have big feet then the extra width of the skate wheels will catch your shoes, whereas the thinner Brompton brand don't
