Mine was mud brown sadly I sold it and brought a yacht!

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
@avecReynolds531 - maybe it's the location? Also, it shows a '531 Renovated' decal. Could it be that it's a different frame and re-painted, with new decals?

A bit too big for me. However, son no. 2 lives nearby - collection and storage may be possible?

Seems unbelievable that there were no bids on the Ron Cooper road bike last week with a price of £78.70?? Reckon that must be the state of the vintage bike market just now.
Still, for the work of one of the UK's greatest framebuilders.... only a few years ago, there'd be a lot of interest & undoubtedly a three-figure auction price.

Perhaps if the seller offered postage? Know i would bid it if he did or buy. Think it a pity that bike with all the time spent on it may be bought very cheap and perhaps not to a good home.

Thanks for the offer re collection/ storage, appreciated. Unfortunately, the 56cm frame wouldn't work, and there's no room at the inn.

The heritage of Britain's frame building is second to none - hopefully the vintage bike market will begin to reappreciate & celebrate this again, and the current downturn will be temporary.

That 9th photo shows a downtube/ headtube lug detail* that's beautifully done - the filing and the letter C. That might indicate a genuine Ron Cooper frameset - but I don't know enough.

* Another downtube/ headtube detail from a Ron Cooper gallery (BikeRecyclery) for comparison. Truly stunning.

Looks a bit tatty tbh.

To renovate it is going to cost £200+ so it's not economical tbh.
