@FrankCrank & @biggs682 - to me the stem, bars and crank cover don't look the same as a 20" wheel one, but do look the same as an 18" wheel. Happy to be wrong.

Your one looks smart

I'm inclined to think the other one is a normal sized KP. I suspect they did the same as Raleigh, ie raiding the parts bins and having various iterations over the years. Raleigh did a smaller version of their Shopper called a 'Denim', but not aware Dawes did the same. Happy to be corrected.
