There are some muppets on Ebay this week.... on Sunday some idiot bid and won a crankset I was selling then denied having bid. Yesterday Mrs Gti bought some boots and the seller messaged to say she'd forgotten she had already sold them. WTF?

I was interested in the frame until reading that. It depends on the final selling price whether the extra £15 is worth it. I guess it may be a strange way of setting a reserve though.

It's a straight up attempt to avoid FVF, which eBay have just started charging on postage, (as some eBayers were selling an item for a quid with £10 postage to avoid paying the fees.)

I'd report him for trying to trade outside of eBay if I felt strongly enough about it.

I think some banks now charge for cash handling, maybe he's HSBC?
